Idea

Presentation matters, but it's the idea that counts.

I'm trying to become more intentional in what I do. Sounds easy, but my mind is chaotic. I have shiny object syndrome and It's so easy to become distracted by the fun things. Distractions if you will, particularly when they come with engagement. Not just on the timeline although that's engaging too, more like feedback loops.

Feedback loops are a helluva drug

You can have a perfectly good idea, one that matters, one that is intentional, but if it is constantly being derailed by distraction, then you'll never reach the part where the idea bears fruit.

So this is a reminder, a note to self. Don't chase engagement for the sake of engagement or fun or whatever. Do your best to drive an idea worth driving until it too becomes engaging.
